BILLIONAIRES’ TOP 10 LIST FOR SUCCESS – CHECK OUT #9 :)

Barbara Walters on 20/20 (via The Wealth Report) interviews four billionaires, and culls out some wisdom for managing success.

Here is the top 10 list culled from billionaires:

1. Figure out what you’re so passionate about that you’d be happy doing it for 10 years,

even if you never made any money from it. That’s what you should be doing.

2. Always be true to yourself.

3. Figure out what your values are and live by them, in business and in life.

4. Rather than focus on work-life separation, focus on work-life integration.

5. Don’t network. Focus on building real relationships and friendships where the relationship itself is its own reward, instead of trying to get something out of the relationship to benefit your business or yourself.

6. Remember to maximize for happiness, not money or status.

7. Get ready for rejection.

8. Success unshared is failure. Give back — share your wealth.

9. (A secret so powerful, we simply cannot tell you)

10. Successful people do all the things unsuccessful people don’t want to do.

Not a bad list . . .

Yoga and My Dog

My wife has been asking me to go with her to a yoga class that she loves. I have experienced basic yoga (more incidental than intentional ) but experienced yoga none the less. I have always heard that yoga is great for your back. If I don’t stay active…my back hurts and hurts often. I have been contemplating on whether or not to attend the class with her and part of my hesitation is not wanting to get shown up by a woman…yeah, I said it, sorry, but true.

This morning while feeding my dog and fending her off with a low impact, round house, spinning jump kick, my back hurts. So, maybe I will swallow my pride and downward dog myself into a blissful and painless future.

Pegby -a Great Free, Web-Based To-Do Manager Program

Web-based to-do tools are a dime a dozen, and every week a new one appears. What makes Pegby a little different is that it combines some of the great features of a tool like Trello with an focus on narrowing your view so you focus only on the things you’re working on now, the things you’ll work on next, and the things you’ve completed, right in line with the GTD philosophy. The service gives you a view with three columns, each corresponding to one of those types of to-dos, and adding tasks is as simple as clicking in one of the columns to start a new “card.” You can drag any card from one column to another, and create new boards for different types of to-dos like “personal,” “work,” “family,” and so on.
